Fall 2022 Update

Hello, everyone!

We’re long overdue for another farm update, considering our last was in 2020…(we’re just a tad behind!)

Fall is here and show season is winding down. Everyone has done extremely well this year and I’m so very proud of all the hard work everyone has put in. Good job, guys! Next year should be a blast!

Great things are happening on the farm: new pastures have been put in and a new dressage arena is in the works. It will be bare ground for a bit but new footing will be put in eventually. A jumping playground will take up residence where the old dressage arena used to be! Fun stuff!

In October, we started our new format for lessons and scheduling, and all seem to be running very smoothly!  If you have any questions, please feel free to speak with Shaunna. Our website has been updated to reflect all the changes and you should be able to find answers to most of your questions here. If you do come across something you can’t locate any information about, please let us know and we’ll get it thrown up on the website!

Just a reminder that the farm will be closed to both lessons and training during the week of Christmas to New Years (25 December 2022 to 1 January 2023). Boarders are welcome to come out anytime; if you would like to schedule a practice ride, please contact the farm before that week to do so.

Horsemanship lessons run on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. If you would like to learn more about Equine Theory and participate in on-the-ground lessons covering a wide variety of interesting topics, please sign up to take part! New Horsemanship times will be coming soon.

The white board next to the table in the courtyard is kept updated with all pertinent information about the farm. Please check it often for show dates and other farm activities.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I will (hopefully) have another update for you for the Winter season!

Thanks, everyone!

Shaunna
